Product Description
Amun-Re: 20th Anniversary Edition is a captivating board game that transports players to the majestic era of ancient Egypt. As leaders of royal Egyptian families, players vie for the most illustrious pyramids. To achieve this, they must first secure a province for trade and agriculture, using their profits to acquire new territories and the necessary materials to construct pyramids. Players must strategically utilize their power cards and consistently offer sacrifices to the god Amun-Re. This 20th Anniversary Edition introduces new modules:
- Officials Variant: Specifically designed for two or three players, this variant provides players with an additional Scribe for bidding. Players bid for two provinces each round but retain control of only one, obtaining the Officials card from the other, which offers instant bonuses.
- Afterlife Expansion: This expansion introduces Tomb tiles, purchasable during the market phase. Players arrange these tiles in their pyramid, with each tile offering bonuses that can be multiplied based on its placement.
- Statues Expansion: Grand statues representing Egyptian gods are added to specific provinces during the first three rounds. These statues grant unique powers to the controlling player, adding intrigue to the auction phase.
- Pharaoh Mini Expansion: This expansion heightens the auction phase's tension by rewarding players for outbidding others. The Pharaoh token moves to each overbid province, with the winning player receiving additional rewards in the subsequent offerings phase.
